Timothy Crawley was born in Ireland. He was 26 years old when he was mustered into Company A on April 29, 1861. He had been working in St Paul as a blacksmith.

Tim was slightly wounded in the left eye at Antietam in 1862. He was seriously wounded in the leg, at Gettysburg, during the charge on July 2, 1863. He died ofrom this wound on July 29, 1863.

He is buried in the Minnesota area: Section B, Grave 7, of the Gettysburg National Cemetery.
